PA Woman, 21, Dies of Injuries from Ocean City Crash

A 21-year old woman from New Hope, Pennsylvania, succumbed to injuries from an Ocean City, New Jersey, crash last week, authorities reported.

The young woman was struck by a car driven by a 44-year old Egg Harbor Township man around 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday, August 11, at 26th Street and West Avenue in Ocean City. She was first taken to Shore Medical center and then transferred to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, and died two days later.

No charges have been filed against the driver, the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office said. But the investigation is ongoing, according to the prosecutor’s office.
