Paul R. D’Amato, founder and partner at the firm, is a top-rated personal injury attorney with over three decades of experience. Paul represents plaintiffs in both federal and county courts across the state. Paul handles many different complex practice areas, such as auto accidents, construction accidents, products liability, and pharmaceutical litigation. Paul has received various awards, including being honored as a top Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney by New Jersey Magazine and the AAJ Award for Monumental Efforts. He has been selected to the Super Lawyers list each consecutive year since 2005. Paul graduated from Georgetown University Law Center and is admitted to practice law in New Jersey. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Atlantic County Bar Association; Established Litigation Skills Committee, American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, New Jersey Association for Justice, and is a card-carrying member of the Iron Workers Local Union 350.
Alexa D’Amato Barrera is also a partner and a personal injury attorney at the firm. Alexa focuses on special education and plaintiffs’ personal injury cases. She is an integral member at the firm and has received many awards, including the 2021 Meyer-Segal Award for exemplary leadership in the community, in her profession, her work at the New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAJ), as well as for the mission of the NJAJ Women Trial Lawyers Caucus. She has been recognized by Super Lawyers each consecutive year since 2014. Before that, she was chosen to the Rising Stars list each year between 2008 and 2013. Alexa graduated with her Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law and is admitted to practice law in New Jersey. She is on the Board of Directors of the Ensign John R. Elliott HERO Campaign Foundation and is a member of the American Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, Atlantic County Bar Association, among other organizations.
