The case, which was in litigation for almost 5 years gained local and national media attention and settled on the eve of trial.

The D’Amato Law Firm is not afraid of a challenge and regularly takes on complicated products liability cases. One such case involves a mother who was burned by a defective fuel based torch sold by the national retailer, Big Lots. Our investigators and resources are the best in the business, which makes it possible for us to take on multiple big cases at one time.

Paul D’Amato has a passion for the law and more specifically for bringing justice to those harmed by the acts of others. That is why he is always willing to take on a case of first impression. Such cases always entail a bigger work load and require many hours of investigation and strategizing, as well as a well thought out and concise legal argument. Mr. D’Amato was a part of the first case in New Jersey history in which the New Jersey Courts acknowledged that an action may be brought, not under worker’s compensation, against an employer for intentional actions which cause harm to their employees.
